Love posted a message on social media quoting the Bible, stating that blessed are those persecuted for righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven
Love, known for his strong Christian faith, said he could not remain silent while witnessing a fellow athlete being persecuted for expressing personal beliefs
He emphasized that sports should not be controlled by politics and that individuals should not lose their careers simply for having different viewpoints

Many Packers fans expressed deep disappointment and quickly began calling on the organization to terminate Jordan Love’s contract immediately
